It feels surreal to work with a major client on issues that have been raised in The Wall Street Journal and New York Times, knowing that I am playing a role in helping my client make a comeback. I have also gotten to know a lot of the analysts in my group, who make the engagement really fun.
Even outside of work, I am having so much fun meeting up with friends from high school and college. I love Boston, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss my friends, most of whom are in NYC. Grabbing a drink with friends after work is not something that I get to enjoy every day in Boston, but in New York, all I have to do is text or call a friend to coordinate.
I’m interested to see how the next several months play out. All I know for certain now is that I’m going to work hard and shop hard. Maybe play hard if I am not exhausted at the end of the day.
