I had plans to go to Soho to buy work clothes but woke up with extreme bed hair that just could not be fixed without a fresh shower. Lazily, I decided I would just cover it up with a hat. What to wear with a hat? One of my favorite go-to outfits of course: a crisp white button-down shirt and boyfriend jeans.

I have gotten a lot of mixed reviews on my fedoras… but I love them. A fedora can really add a level of sophistication and an appropriate amount of boyish prep to an outfit. White top plus jeans is always a classic, but I love the pop of color the heart on the shirt gives (which was also worn in my previous post) without sacrificing the structured, preppy look of the button-down. The light wash of the jeans gives a relaxed feel to the whole look as well.
